Barn Rules
-
Smoking – We have a no smoking policy at our facility.
-
Cleanliness – If your horse has an “accident” (or an “on-purpose”) on the road or near the barn, please toss it into the adjacent field with a manure fork before you leave. The field needs the fertilizer more than the road. Also, in consideration of everyone at this facility please clean up after yourself and the veterinarian or farrier if they came on your behalf.
-
Safety – Your safety is paramount. Please advise us immediately of potential safety hazards.
-
Riding areas – Please ride along the edges of newly seeded fields or fields currently in hay production.
-
Worming - To ensure the health of all horses on the property, horses need to be
wormed on the barn schedule (once every three months). Notify stable owner when worming is completed so records can be kept.
-
Boarders are expected to hold their own horses for the veterinarian or farrier unless other arrangements have been made with the stable owner. If a boarder is
unable to meet the professional at the appointed time we can hold the horse given
at least 24 hours notice and a $10 holding fee.
